I follow Tony each and every week in NASCAR, and because we live within a 100 miles of Eldora we get to see him race there on dirt when he has enough time in his schedule. The first weekend in April we watched him run with the All Star Sprints in Northern Ohio and he isn't the one that usually starts feuds, but if he feel you screwed him on the track he will definitely retaliate, not a doubt in my mind. Last few laps of the feature he and a younger driver were going at it and the guy did something that didn't sit well with Tony and when they were coming into the pits after the race Tony hit the guys car and ended up rolling over his own car, of which he fully owns, Haas has no stake in that outlaw sprint car whatsoever.
Speaking from personal experience I've wrecked other cars and my own when I was wearing all the hats, owner, driver, crew chief, and ended up working all week to put it back together plus paying out of pocket for parts. Your not weighing out the work and the money involved when someone takes you out, that is all trivial when the adrenalin is flowing and it never enters your mind. Making sure they aren't going to finish any better than you do is what is the prime motivation at that moment. Is it right?, no but it's all your thinking of at that moment. The last thing on my mind was what's this gonna cost and how long am I gonna be working on it.

Easy there, Killer! I agree Tony was never one to instigate trouble and is known as a clean racer. He has matured over the years but he still is quick tempered. But you can't convince me that it never enters his mind before he retaliates, now that he's an owner. When he was younger he had a very quick temper and had his share of run-ins, skirmishes and damaged equipment. His 'incidents' have decreased as he's gotten older.
