Yea. When I bought the extended lug nuts I needed to cut them down to fit them under the closed end nuts with the red ends. Well when I had them on the lathe I set what I thought was the right length, and my friend said they were too long, and I ignored him and they are. They are a 1/16 of an inch too long so they punch through and ruined all the red centers just knocking them out.
this pissed me off because I loved those red centers. I might paint the end of the studs red for looks.
And I won't have to worry about going back to the original wheels because I'm butting big brakes on which won't fit under any wheels smaller than 17 inch.
