Make that September 2010 - when the 2011 F150's Ecoboosts hit the street.
I was trying to be conservative saying 17 - 18 months. Actually for the first one's it's been 20 months - which is only 3,000 miles per month.
Bottom line, there are plenty of Ecoboosts that are out of warranty and there are problems with these engines.
