We had a contract with the DoD to reman the 6.2/6.5s used in the Hummers. Under light loads, the 6.2/6.5 does OK. Start "hammering" it and it starts falling apart starting with the crank breaking between #1/2 rod and #2 main. As long as you use aftermarket studs and GOOD head gaskets, the 6.0 Fords will run fairly well.
