This is really weird. From an original 1969 magazine, here's a 1969 Baldwin-Motion Corvette with a Pontiac hood tach. They changed the faceplate, upped the redline, and changed the Pontiac script.
As for wrong wheels on a Chevrolet, here's a better example. From a 1968 GM 4-page ad showing all the 1968 GM muscle cars, this is the photo they used for the 1968 Chevelle SS396.
Don Yenko (Yenko Chevrolet) loved the Pontiac Rally II wheel, so much so that he used them on his 1968 427 Camaro conversion cars.
