WEll, not sure when it was changed over but the set I have are the motor type, from 78 I had marked on the pair. They will bolt in and work ( probably better than a solenoid) but connector is way different, they are not correct. Have the Actuator arms, boots are weak though. May want to pursue another route, if a member doesnt have a "working" one. I would test them. I had weak ones on my old grand prix. Think the windings melt
This guy rebuilds them>> A "Craigs list" listing in Tampa. May be worth a call or email...

Install factory GM power door locks into your classic muscle car. Easy install and works in any car. All of my sets are carefully removed from various 1969-1976 GM cars and are all original parts. (no repro stuff here).

I can refurbish a complete set for you back to factory-fresh, or you can buy complete sets as-is, but tested and working great.

I have switches, solenoids, wiring harnesses, mounting bolts, door jamb boots, and linkage rods for a complete installation. It only takes two or three bolts per door for the solenoid (depending on which style you prefer) and then run the wiring harness. It's that simple. I offer 100% customer support for install either via email or phone. These sets are far superior to any aftermarket and plastic door locks you can buy.

$325 shipped for a complete as-is set. $375 shipped for a refurbished set.

Ships via USPS priority mail immediately after payment. Thanks for looking.

This is a completely restored power door lock set up for a 1970-1972 Chevelle, El Camino, Monte Carlo, Buick Skylark, GTO, Lemans, 442, or Cutlass. It will even fit 1969, 1968 models too. It comes with a NEW wiring harness, nice chrome switches, solenoids with actuating rods, rubber door boots, and the 6 mounting screws. The system works flawlessly and will increase the value of your car. I have multiple sets if you need more than one set-up. >>>>>>> I will even sell wiring harnesses, switches or solenoids separately.<<<<<<<<
