That's WHY they mounted the shaker to to the hood......
Most aftermarket intake & carb combo's won't give correct shaker location/height.
You need to TOSS all of that aftermarket CRAP!
The stock intake manifold will outperform ANY aftermarket intake for a street application & quadrajets are THE choice for a fast,dependable car that WON'T burst into flames arbitrarily....
