I really enjoyed his character as the General in the Dirty Dozen in 1967 with a lot of other greats: Lee Marvin Charles Bronson, Jim Brown, John Cassavetes, Richard Jaecket, George Kennedy, Trini Lopez, Ralph Meeker, Robert Ryan, Telly Savalas,
Donald Sutherland, Clint Walker, Robert Webber, and Tom Busby.
The only film to come close with actors was the Great Escape with Steve McQueen.
RIP Ernest. You were a great one.
