Here is my story for those interested. I purchased headers, or gave money to Ron, on January 1 of this year. Told headers would be shipped on January 15 of what I thought was this year. I was one of the "new" orders to aid in the building of the "old" orders.
I also ordered a set of heads from Butler Performance then next day. They told me it would be approximately 2 months before I would receive heads. That's cool, I thought. It was winter....even if the headers take two months it's not big deal.
Well, now it's August and I'm pretty sure I'm headed into the "old" order file. Granted, not nearly as long a wait as alot of you guys. But aggravated just the same. And I'm a pretty patient sort of fellow.
I still reply to the email Ron sent to me that stated he received my money and the ship date of my headers. He never responds, but something about doing that just makes me feel better.
I'm in agreement with CrustySarge. Looking back, I wish I wouldn't have ordered these headers. I really don't anticipate ever receiving them. I could've put $500+ to good use somewhere else. Yes, I've read all of this thread and know how hard times have fallen on Ron.....but dang, it's tough all over. "the fit of these headers are unmatched."....doesn't mean s**t if I never get them.
That being said, if you must order these just beware. I was a "new" two week delivery order that hasn't gotten anything. Aron and Ron are your best buddies when you're considering it. When they get your money.....not so much.
And Aron, I do not understand your involvement in this whole procedure. I would've bailed on this a long time ago. I don't want to see anybody fail and I wouldn't have ordered these headers if I thought they were junk. But to get on here and make excuses...I just don't understand it. I guess I've just lost faith.
