crustysarge.....no, the real issue is that it really is none of your business who else is owed headers if they have chosen not to post here. You are owed, and thats the only thing that IS your business, unless these several that have posted, and several that have messaged you chose to do so. Its interesting that "Many" has now changed to "several". So since Ron wont do it, why don't you step up and name names?
As for slamming you? Yes...I served for 15 yrs, and I'm allowed to comment. When you start making snide comments about me, or those who have received their headers...you deserve it. We dont deserve your comments.
softbrain77.....I'm really not sure of your circumstance. I have tried to help as I could, and I have guaranteed many sets of headers for people over the last year and a half. Part of my purpose was to pass on any info I knew.
rustedgoat...there are multiple reasons for delays, not just one. The new jigs are new.....and therefore a little slower to work from. He has to stop more times, unbolt them from the jig, walk to the test frame, bolt them in place to check fit......and he has to do it far more often that the old jigs due to familiarity.
MOST of the people owed headers are owed because they were old orders from 6 years ago and he needs to get the money to buy materials etc. Some of the others he owes are because at some point Ron spent the money received for a set of headers on something he needed for the shop at the moment. Robbing Peter to pay Paul. Not good. I'm not going to make excuses for it. So when you only have $10 left in your bank account its hard to buy the 5 sets of flanges waiting at the supplier....until the next person orders.
