Glad you were able to visit the New Jersey! I visited her in 2004. While aboard her though, the ships across the river really caught my interest but, was not able to go there on that trip.
So, in 2007 while on the road trip in my '72 GTO, I visited the USS Olympia across from the New Jersey. IT is the oldest steel/iron warship afloat and fought in the Spanish/American war in the 1890s. I believe this is a 5" mount
What was really cool though was being able to 'sight in ' the New Jersey while on the Olympia! If you get a chance to visit the Olympia, you will like it.
