In case you DON'T know, there is such a thing as too much oil pressure. In aircraft engines, we could actually set the desired oil pressure. In a warmed engine, 40psi @
idle is TOO MUCH,IMO. Of course, my views are influenced by my experience with aircraft engines that cost more than your house and the fact my mentor was a USAC
certified mechanic and engine builder who NEVER had a "come back". Questions?
