'69 Tempest, LeMans, GTO Fremont, CA Jack
The attached pictures are believed to be the original jack out of a ’69 LeMans built at the Fremont, CA plant in April ’69. Note the first picture that shows the March ’69 date stamp (“C 9”) which lends some support to it being correct for the LeMans.
The car I'm working on was built at Fremont the 4th week of January ’69, so I’m trying to confirm that this style is correct for mine. If so, I'll be looking for one dated Jan '69 or prior. Anybody out there able to confirm?
