I bought my decals before yours were available, about 2 years ago. When they were about 6 mos. old, I was adjusting my valves and two drops of oil about the size of a pin head landed on my bird and took the ink right off. I don't think the droplets were too hot 'cause the engine was not that hot plus I think the oil traveling through air must have lowered the temp at least a few degrees. So, I don't know if it was oil itself or the fact that it was hot oil. I wasn't about to experiment. FWIW.
