63 lemans with 41000 miles on clock its a very staight car.I removed the 336 and replaced it with a late 400 with isky cam and ported 6x-4 heads.I hand drilled the 400 crank for the rope drive shaft useing a spacer/adapter for a jig.The bolt circle just fits on the crank (if any one wants the adapter drawing please let me know and I will try and find the drawing). The 336 flex plate is balanced to the same balance as the 400 flex plate.A 400 sump was then modified for the 63 starter as I wanted to keep the 336 together as its a real nice engine.I built tri-y headers for it and they are a real pain in the arse to fit.The gear box has had extra clutch plates and mods to shift harder. The engine bay is a bit piggy at the moment but I will clean it up when I change engines at a later date.I have found a 63 389 block that I want to stroke to 421 when I afford it (haha).Ill try and put some pictures up.
