The 68 latch will not work with the 67 hood catch. A 67 latch will work with 67-69 hoods. You can mod the 68 latch to work though.
Remove the material marked in black and it will work fine or you can send it to me and I can convert it to a 67 by replacing the secondary catch with one from a 67.
