My Dad had one of these in 3/4 ton with a HOT 'vette 327 in it. He gave it to me as my first car and then took it away after I thrashed it racing it all the time. It didn't have the chrome trim on the cab and my cab was white. When he bought the truck from the original owner it looked like this. Totally stock with the original 283. He put some chrome wagon wheels on it and the exhaust ended and dumped right at the back of the cab with Thrush mufflers. he never swapped out the stock compound low 4spd so I drag raced with 2-4. The resonance in the cab was something to remember! lol I have many fond memories of cruising Clearwater Ave. and drag races in Columbia Park in the summer...
