With the exception of the early bird when your working on our cars , with the raditor out you can stand in front of the engine in the engine compartment & work on the engine or what ever you can reach while your in there. I usually put the dist. back in before I put the raditor in so I can look down in the dist hole to see where it's going. Also easy to change items with the raditor out like the intake or valve cover or even if you want to adjust the valves one at a time by looking down through the valley to watch the lifter move up & down so you can see whenyour at TDC, & zero lash.
