And to pfilean's "still running hot", I am leaning toward water passage blockage in one or both heads...just a thought.

At this point I am going to look for a local (-ish) rebuilder to redo what I bring him. ...Or maybe I will get my shop ship shape, get a press and create the tools needed to "roll my own", so to speak.
