Hate to ask more questions, BUT.. does that car have the new "pink" wire from the firewall side of the fuse box, to the dist? FULL 12 volts? HEI needs 12 volts to actually run correctly. Some cars will run on less, but its not high energy.
Ill assume the crank chain sprocket is at 12 o'clock and the cam sprocket at 6.....
