Good thing about the reflective stickers are that they are pretty durable. If I wanted to save it, I'd investigate a way to possibly peel it off. Something that would soften the glue maybe.
My '68 VW has a Warner Robins AFB sticker in the windshield and an "Otto Glockler VW- Frankfurt/M" VW dealership badge was in the glovebox. Obviously, someone in the AF bought the car in Germany and liked it enough to bring it home with him/her when he rotated out.
