What's the fender/hood gap look like? Or fender/nose gap? May want to check your core support and the core support bushings. Those rot and allow the core support to drop to the frame, making it closer, and closing the gap on the fender/wheel/tire.
Pop the hood and you can look at the gap between the frame and the core support, notice if there's a difference.
And the end of the coil spring is in the pocket of the lower control arm?
