BTW, FormulaBruce had a good comment he sent me in a PM. You have to remember that all commercially available fuels nowadays have at least 10% ethanol in them. That means the original metering setup in the carbs are going to be very lean...by at least 10%
If I do my math correctly, the "tuned" setup listed above is around 10% richer than the stock setup.
