What I dont understand is this: Here locally, the Volo Museum has a George Barris show every summer with the cars they have that they claim are his cars. Itsa pretty big collection. The Batmobile is is one of them. It can be seen driving the local roads. They still advertise as "See the George Barris TV and Movie car collection"
Are these Georges cars or are they replicas? If they are replicas, why would George indorse them as his?

For the same reason a certain Carousel Red "Super" car was touted as the original...MONEY $$$
Nobody is going to come to an event advertised as "come see George Barris' replicas".
