Just to follow up on this thought: many of these buildings have stood vacant and dormant for many many years....but not any more.

There has been a huge push to dismantle these buildings in the Pontiac area and work has begun on the Baldwin/Joslyn/Montcalm facility. Starting at the north end the Shipping Building (#16) and the Metal Stamping plant (#15) are now gone and only piles of debris remain.

Following Norm's lead I'll get the GTO over to Baldwin Rd for some pics. Hopefully it won't be too late.
