Sprayfoam insulation
Canam, do you have an older home with an unheated basement ie. limestone/poured foundation??? Have you looked into spray foam insulation. I have sprayed numerous basements for people over the years and while they were skeptical at first after the 1st winter they would have kissed my butt in the middle of town square they were so happy with it. It will cut down on the cold air infiltration in the winter and keeps alot of the moisture out in the summer. Just a thought, take it for what it's worth Ed
