My garage is insulated and has moisture barrier under the slab. When it was like it was yesterday here in Chicago, if you open the garage door more than a few moments, you're done. My car shares the garage with 2 others and I'm sure my "better half" doesn't pay any attention to how fast she gets in or out of the garage.
