Drink lots of water. Stretching as soon as you can. Lay on your back on a flat surface and pull your knees to your chest, first one at a time and then both together. Youo actually have to rotate your hips to pull on the muscles in your lower back. Heat helps to loosen things up. Stay away from any dr. with a knife..... had surgery 20+ years ago and it was a majoy mistake. Keep going until you can't go anymore before you let then carve on you.
When you are feeling better start doing crunches, you have a bad back because you have weak abdominals.
I see a chiropractor regularly.
