Default Rowland Hall hood hinge rebuild

My recollection is that we discussed by phone first, I shipped him hinges, he completed work and returned to me with an invoice, and I sent him a check. Of course, I knew what the cost was going to be from our phone conversation. I recall price varies by what finish you want on the rebuilt hinges and whether you want the original markings (concentric circles, certain stamped numbers, etc.) duplicated on the heads of the new rivets he machines specifically for your hinges . I asked to have mine returned bare steel, so he bead blasted them, did the rebuild, and sent them back to me. Seems like my invoice was $250. Not cheap, but a very good value, given the very careful, precise way he does this work. I suppose price could also go up if you send him a rusty, mangled set to rebuild.
