I have to agree. I was so loyal to GM, despite all the crap that they sold me. My trucks, a lousy GMC Envoy, a Cadillac CTS, it goes on
One day my brother asked me to take over his '07 Tundra. It is a double cab and he wanted a regular cab with the 8' box. He even subsidized the lease. I wasn't enthused, but agreed to try it. I soon realized that if BMW made a truck, it would perform like this one. It's tight, powerful, handles more like a sports car and is Mercedes Benz quiet. It's also one of the better looking trucks in my opinion and these thing combined likely contribute to it's highest resale value.
