It seems like the last two weeks has been non stop. We only managed and hour or two of work on the car, but that is better than none. We got all the glass out as well as the regulators. The only thing left in the shell now are what used to be a headliner, weather striping and the latch mechanism in the doors. Probable the worst thing we found was under the front window. I knew it was going to need some attention, but like always, more than I had first thought. Has anyone ever worked with the reproduced upper cowl panel for these cars? PY has one for about 350 plus ship. Are they manageable and close or will I spend just as much time making it fit as I do getting it in?
I went up to our shop today and started digging. I have pieces stored everywhere. Found some stuff I have forgot about and taking more inventory. I am still missing a pair of engine frame stands, so I will be looking to get some off some one.
The plans for this car continually develop. At this point I think the brakes and suspension will be upgraded with a few choice aftermarket pieces, and I really like those 17" Rally II's. Anyone know if they clear a set of c5 corvette brakes?
