Nothing wrong with the 1BC Rochester carbs. As with anything, it needs a proper rebuild & adjustment once back on the motor. My current carb needs rebuilt again. It has well over 60K on it. This time it needs major repairs. The throttle shaft & base are worn out. Wont idle down completeyl without tapping the gas pedal a couple of times. I am currently in the process of going through my parts looking for a good replacement carb base with good throttle shaft
