I think you are spot on bulletpruf with the different types of hobbyist. Although I can honestly say I never thought that this car would bring this kind of money. It's just $250.00 away from $18K. Not sure if the folks that are bidding on it currently know what kind of money it would take to get it up to speed, unless it wouldn't take that much to get it into safe driver condition. This is based on my abilities to work on it, not someone with your capabilities. I guess one could spread it out over years, but I would think one would have to spend a good chunk right off the bat just to keep it from deteriorating. I would hate to think that someone would spend $18K to let it sit and rot just because they ran out of money, and/or priorities changed. I guess it's possible though. Just trying to learn a few things about the judge as I have wanted one since I was 13. Why is it that you can get a base model 69 GTO that is closer to mint condition for the same price than it appears that this car will bring. I guess the car is in a lot better shape than what I'm thinking it is in.
