You knew at your first post that some here would not agree with you. For that you can find comrades on the aforementioned Camaro websites that are "creaming their jeans" for the Z no doubt. I can appreciate your bias and point of view. Your opinion is different than mine and the way I see it. Nice to be able to agree to disagree. No harm, no foul here IMO.

A$$ backwards marketing still holds here based on this previous marketing by Chebby:

1990s 1LEs were TRACK CARS...Z28s were mainstream "performance image" Camaros.
1998 - 2002 Z28s were - again - mainstream, with THE Z28 SS The SLP performance upgrade Camaro. And again IIRC 1LEs were "TRACK CAR CAMAROS", yes?

So, like I originally stated, GM Chebby marketing is ignoring their previous designation and hierarchy tier for the Z28 in the
2nd
3rd
4th
Generation which they have sold millions.

What's next - the Camaro Corvair Monza???
