I have flowed both and the Edelbrock P-65 has induction restrictions that readily show up on the flow bench. The Offy unit is actually a very short runner manifold with a "divided wall" down the center of the plenum (with "open doors" built into the center wall for common signal communication).
As was said, a basic Offy DQ unit allowed a engine to easily run in the 10s.
