Insulation? Like heat barrier? Or sound deadener? Regardless, there really is no 'best', as long as they work to the level you are aiming for. I wouldn't personally use any home product, and would use somethign specifically for cars.
I used Dynamat on 2 projects, sound deadener and heat barrier. But asking which one is 'best' is going to open a can of worms.
