Any dealer with a supply of these parts will now lose their butt even to match price. This is a big company which apparently does not care about it's dealers because now they cannot compete with the new players paying the new wholesale price of around $100.00. If LKQ can sell this piece at this price, you have to wonder how much money they are really making.

BTW, the new MSRP on the t/p is $159.00, so 181.00 is still significantly above the new price structure. Obviously with the number of sales that have taken place, it has been a tremendous windfall. They did the same thing with the trunk extensions. Don't even think that the sellers marketing these parts are all of a sudden bestowing a gift on the cummunity; they are simply reaping the vast rewards of the new price structure. By increasing the price is simple greed given the new lower price.

I had EVERYTHING to do with having these parts being made and fitted them myself. I felt I was doing a tremendous favor for all owners needing this product and I know I succeded in that respect. This was supposed to be an opportunity for goodmark to make some new products with a good profit with the idea to stimulate them to make more. I had goodmark convinced that there was a good market for these items and while many willing buyers took advantage when they were released, actual sales fell far short of prolections. Consequently, due to the slow sales of the t/p and extensions after everyone whined about the lack of a good product, it is unlikely that no other future products will be made by goodmark for these cars IMO. Just my 2 cents.
this is a bummer.

I didn't even know these were being made;
at the $300 price I still would have (eventually) bought - it sure kicks the crap out of the lower panel paper template i got several years back!!

what's this about trunk extentions?
