I had one of those FJ40's when I was stationed on Kodiak Island in the mid nineties. Mine was in great shape, fresh paint on a solid body. I put auburn limited slip's in the front and rear. That thing would climb hills steep enough to scare passengers. The axles were as fat as baseball bats. Basically a 3/4 ton jeep in my opinion. Yours looked like the rest of the FJ40's on Kodiak, beat up rust buckets.
