X2 on the return line. On my 76 TA 455 I installed a new tank with a new RobbMC 1/2"pickup, Jeg's pump kit with braided lines, fuel filter, 130GPH pump and a deadhead regulator. The pump within a few minutes would start losing and fluctuate it's pressure do to being deadheaded. I called Jeg's to complain, and they sent me a new pump and a return style regulator at no cost. I had to plumb a return line, but now the car has no fuel issues. It no longer runs out of fuel, pressure remains constant, the car now idles smoother and runs better than it ever did. This was an expensive system, but I really like it and it looks and works the way I had hoped when I started the changeover.
