I run M&H Racemasters in an 18 no less (on other car), and right aire pressure AND heat is key. I drive to the track with 26 or 27 lbs and then air down to 19 at the track. Good 3-4 sec burnout in the box and it's a dead hook @ 3500 RPM. On the street? Much better than a street tire, but still breaks loose behind 675 lbs/ft torque and a manual trans - try not to do this too much though...
