If they started 43 cars single file at Bristol, they'd still be closer together than 30 or fewer cars starting single file at the Indy 500...
During most Indy 500 single file restarts there are cars on the still on the backstretch when the leader takes crosses the bricks. 2.5 mile track - has to be about a 1 mile headstart...
