I agree - buy it if you can - $ 4-5K would be good IMO. I bought my '64 4spd convertible (bench seat) 7 years ago (but it was complete and not a '62 for same price range). It didn't run, no brakes, tranny frozen, hadn't run in 37 years. Snyder still gets inquiries on my car today asking if it's for sale. I've worked on it since - just a bit here and there, but I drive it, have fun with it, and love it. You'll have no regrets - and Matt (engine ear) would be your best on '62 $$$ & knowledge.
