quicksilver97ta, I did cheat it up a little higher than a factory quadrajet intake by 3/4", but it is still to low in my opinion. I'm trying to keep it low enough that someone with a Trans Am could still use their shaker scoop. And I think your right, the street guy's are more interested in the cool factor not all out performance.
