If your referring to me, I averaged around 12 going out and 11 coming back. 6 spd manual trans. I rather deal with replacing a clutch than replacing or rebuilding a 6 spd auto down the road, plus whats a diesel if you can't shift it??? Again, like all new diesels, because of all the emission BS, their mileage blows in stock form. From what I've read, seen, and heard, just a DPF and EGR delete with a reprogram will gain around 5-8mpg depending on who you believe and supposably wakes these motors up. I'll take 19-23 mpg on a 8000# truck. My 1500 gas never got better than 17 on the highway and around 14 in mixed driving.
