Read my post in your other thread about testing.
Personally I like WICKS suggestion to remove the wheel tub and entire fender.
You could do a precise and concours style resto on your unit. Right down to sealing the airbox with the factory body caulk.
It will be so easy with the fender and tub removed, otherwise your working over and under the fender...not so much fun.
