My complaint about the repro caps is that the quality of
the plating on them is terrible. They look old and tarnished right out of the box.
Because of this I use a stock GM cap from the 80's and 90's on my car most of the time
that is very similar in appearance and is made out of stainless steel which you can polish to a beautiful finish. I have a repro cap that I use at shows like the POCI convention where
absolute correctness matters, but I prefer the look of the stainless cap otherwise.
