Default The Stude

I think I told ya'll about my first shifting experience. It was in one of the old bullet nose Studes from either '50 or '51. It was a black Champion 4-door. And, of course, the back doors were the "suicide" type, opening from the front. It probably looked something like the 1st pic. I can't recall if it was a '50 or '51. Couldn't find a single pic of it in our old scrapbooks.

As I've mentioned, a red Stude pickup was my first daily driver, in the summer of '55. Studes were still popular in those days. For anyone interested, I posted a couple of pics of Stude cars, pickups, and big trucks on the Tow Truck Tales thread in the Lobby.
