. I also use 1616 and am working on getting my OHC painted while in the car. I have tested several Pontiac engine paint vendors and the 1616 paint seems to be the best so far. Plasticote although a nice paint does not lay the paint down with uniformity. It tends to glob the paint even when you change the speed of ho it is laid down. It is the brightest paint so far and does look pretty good unused. I have not painted the complete motor yet but I will post pics when it is done.
FWIW it is worth I found ordering the 1616 paint much easier and cheaper at Amazon.
