I've been running the same McCleod single disc set-up in my tripower 389 '65 GTO since 1984. Have about 50,ooo miles on it, and it's still fine. Heavy pedal effort, but smooth and flawless performance. It's a 3400LB pressure plate, if I remember correctly.
