I have seen your car, and I wouldn't drive it through road construction either! I have the issue of High Performance Pontiac with your formula in it. Ive really tried to steer away from the construction thing. Obviously it wont die.
Construction. This is the Chicago area. Its a way of life here. North Ave in St Charles is under a major renovation of road that badly needed it. Nobody is hiding anything. Its called CONSTRUCTION. Its either there or it isn't. Its running two lanes in both directions while most of the work is being done. I drive this route all the time. The roads are in very good condition considering the circumstances.
2012 was the biggest documented POCI convention in POCI history. Construction was not hidden from anyone. Last year over 1000 cars came to the show. Im sure that there were cars there just as nice as what ever Pontiac you drive. They may have trailered their car or they may have driven it. Either way, they came out in droves.
The fact that you post my name or the club that Im affiliated with saying that we don't care about the cars just our numbers is a bunch of BS and offensive. The CTGTOC takes ever precaution to make sure your cars are safe while on show grounds. Please, if you are so incredibly afraid that while driving 30 mph for a mile or two something may happen to your car, you may need to find another way to get the car there.
I have so much more to say but Im gonna get off my soap box before I get hurt.
